Botswana offers some of the best safari vacations in Africa. From the Okavango Delta or Moremi to Chobe & the Kalahari, we have a memorable safari package for you.Over the years, Botswana has become the safari destination of choice due to the large numbers of wildlife found there and the fact that these numbers are growing every year. Botswana has the largest density of elephant and lion in Africa.
Botswana is a land-locked country bordered by Namibia in the north and west, Zimbabwe & Zambia in the northeast and South Africa in the south. Botswana has one of the lowest population densities in the world, and with it's exclusive tourism policies, the wilderness attractions are largely unspoilt and uncrowded, promising an unparalleled African adventure experience. The northwest region is the most interesting and sought after by wildlife explorers as it is here that the Okavango River drains inland to form the Okavango Delta which is the largest inland delta in the world. Wildlife is prolific here as the animals come to drink from the waters. On the eastern fringe of the Delta lies the Moremi Game Reserve which is the ultimate African safari destination and is famous for its beauty. Chobe National Park is situated in the north of Botswana and is famous for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world. Botswana straddles the “Tropic of Capricorn” and experiences extremes in temperatures. Days are normally clear, warm and sunny but the nights range from cool to cold. Botswana is primarily a dry country, but a summer rainy season lasts from November to March. During this season, days are normally sunny with short, abrupt rainstorms which normally clear within hours. From late May to August rain is rare anywhere in the country. Malaria is a health risk and we advise all persons travelling to Botswana to consult their local Travel Clinic for advice. Visa’s: No visa is required for visits up to 90 days for citizens of most Commonwealth and European countries.
