Day 01
Meet & greet assistance at Maun Airport

Day 01 to Day 03
2 nights at Xakanaxa Camp on a full board basis including laundry, scheduled activities as offered by the camp and all local drinks / house wines. (pronounced Ka-ka-na-ka)
Xakanaxa is located in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, rated as one of Africa’s most beautiful game reserves, about 50 kilometres to the west of the Khwai Gate and about 140 kilometres to the north of Maun. Situated on the Xakanaxa Lagoon, Xakanaxa boasts one of the prime locations in all of Botswana. Towering riverine forests, open savannah, seasonal floodplains, permanent lagoons, rivers and the intricate channels of the Okavango Delta surround the camp and makes for a varied habitat that ensures the safari traveller of the very best all-year-round Okavango Delta land and water experience.
The Moremi Reserve is rated as one of Africa’s finest game-viewing areas, offering sanctuary to abundant herds of elephant, sable, giraffe, tsessebe, lechwe, wildebeest, impala and waterbuck. Lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and hyena complete the picture.
Birding is quite spectacular, especially during spring and summer when the migrants breed.
The stylish main buildings extend into the Khwai River and are set on raised platforms to maximize the views over the surrounding lagoons and islands. Constructed of local timber, reed and thatch they comprise of an elegant lounge containing a small but comprehensive library, dining room, expansive sundeck, plunge pool and sala with day bed as well as a fire-deck set under giant Jackalberry trees.
The kitchen is renowned for its traditional safari fare served with a Pan-African touch, all accompanied by excellent South African wines. Meals are generally taken around the main dining room table where tales of the day’s exciting experiences are recounted and discussed in great detail. Guests wishing to dine in private are also catered for.
Teas, coffees, mineral water and soft drinks as well as a wide range of alcoholic drinks are available to guests throughout the day at no extra cost (there is a Reserve List of drinks that are charged for).
A full English breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner is included in the nightly rate, as are all safari activities and Park entrance fees.
Day 03
Boat transfer Xakanaxa Camp to Kwara Camp.
Day 03 to Day 05
2 nights at Kwara Camp on a full board basis including laundry, scheduled activities as offered by the camp and all local drinks / house wines.
This well known camp is set overlooking a secluded lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta. This region offers a contrasting experience, as its location allows access to the permanent waterways of the Delta as well as expansive dry land areas, admired for their quality game viewing.
Kwara accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in eight traditionally styled tents on raised decks, each offering superb views of the lagoon. Towering African ebony and mangosteen trees ensure that the camp is always cool while the hundreds of birds add to the feeling of serenity in one of the Okavango's best kept secrets.
Kwara offers, within the exclusive concession in which it is located, a wide variety of activities. In addition to game drives, both day and night, the camp offers game walks and mokoro trips, as well as power boating and fishing (spinning equipment is provided but fly fisherman need to bring their own equipment).
Day 05

2 nights at Kwando Lagoon on a full board basis including laundry, scheduled activities as offered by the camp and all local drinks / house wines.
Lagoon is perched on the banks of the wild Kwando River, overlooking the Mudumu National Park in the Namibian Caprivi Strip. The camp is nestled beneath towering ebony and marula trees and accommodates up to 16 guests in eight traditionally styled 'tents.' The heavily forested site is home to a wide variety of birds and mammals, while elephant and hippo are normally visible from the camp. The stunning views and close proximity of wildlife all contribute to the pervading sense of calm at Lagoon.
Seasonally large herds of elephant drink at the river bank near to the camp in full view of the main deck, while playful spotted - necked otters are commonly seen performing in the water.
Lagoon has a well-earned reputation for big game and large herds of elephant and buffalo, especially in the winter months, when herds of up to a thousand are not uncommon. This vast concentration of game attracts the attention of large predators. The Lagoon wild dog pack regularly den close to the camp and the excellent viewing opportunities have led to Lagoon's reputation as the place to see wild dog in Botswana.
Another special feature of the camp is the afternoon river cruise. The unique double deck boat allows several guests the opportunity to drift along the river while enjoying spectacular views, mammal and bird life while sipping at your 'sundowner' of choice. For those guests who enjoy fishing, there is ample room to throw a line in the water while the boat meanders along.
The camp's compliment of 22 staff are there to look after our guests quietly and efficiently, ensuring a relaxing and peaceful stay.
