The regular south-east trade winds and the pleasant climatic conditions that prevail year round make Mauritius an ideal destination for sailors. We have selected the north and north-west coastal regions, as they are naturally sheltered from the south-east trade winds by the mainland and offer a generally calm sea and a safe navigation zone.
Sail to the northern islands of Mauritius, explore the hidden lagoons and beaches and swim and dive in our crystal clear and clean waters. Discover one of the best snorkeling sites of the island with numerous corals and multi-colored fish.
The boats are based in the North of Mauritius and are manned by experienced crews of two (skipper and boatman) who look after the wellbeing of their passengers. They speak English and French.
The boats can be booked on per cabin basis with guaranteed departures or on an exclusive charter basis.
Each boat has 2 senior cabins and 1 junior cabin. The junior cabin is a little smaller and ideal for juniors.

Day 1:
Transfer from the hotel or from the airport to the our offices in the North of Mauritius.*
14:00 check-in and transfer to the boat
Welcome by the skipper who will give a briefing about the boat, its facilities and equipment as well as safety and security measures.
15:00 set sail towards the northern islands. After 1h 30 the boat will arrive at the anchorage between Ilot Gabriel and Flat Island inside a calm and safe lagoon with superb swimming conditions.
Enjoy a wonderful sunset with a typical Mauritian cocktail.
The crew will prepare a delicious barbeque under the stars for the first dinner on board.
Overnight on board at anchor.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board.
Swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters between the two islands. Later in the morning, sail to Grand Baie, the lively seaside resort. Lunch on board in the calm waters of the bay.
There will be time to discover the numerous boutiques and shops. In the afternoon the skipper will sail you along the northwest coast to Balaclava where the boat will anchor for the night.
Dinner on board
Day 3
After breakfast, sail back towards the north. A chance to perfect your sailing skills or to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery.
After a last stop at ‘Casita’, one of the finest beaches of the island you will return to the yacht club and disembark.
A transfer back to your hotel or the airport has been organised.*
