This safari begins and ends at Arusha Airport.

Day 1: Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be welcomed by a representative, who will drive you to the Arusha Coffee Lodge.

You will spend one night in a chalet at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, which is situated on a coffee plantation and boasts spectacular views of nearby Mount Meru. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2, 3 & 4: Mahale Mountains
After breakfast you will be chauffeured to Arusha Airport, where you will board a shared charter flight to Mahale or Ikuu (Katavi) Airstrip. On arrival at the airstrip you will be transferred to the camp of your choice.

• Explore the forested mountain slopes of Mahale Mountains National Park along the sandy shores of Lake Tanganyika, the world’s longest freshwater lake. Spend three nights at Greystoke Camp, nestled into the forest along an untouched white beach at the base of the Mahale Mountains. Your stay is on a full board basis, including a selection of adventures and park fees. Adventures include tracking chimpanzees through the lush forests in the company of guides who know each animal by name or simply strolling along the steep mountain paths, skimming the clear waters of Lake Tanganyika in a dhow, snorkelling among the fresh water fish or trying your hand at fishing the lake waters.

• Thrill to a raw and remote wilderness experience in the unadulterated bush setting of the Katavi National Park. Set within shady woodland on the edge of the game-rich Chada floodplain, a safari tent at Chada Camp is the perfect base to explore the pure wilderness of Katavi. Your stay is on a full board basis, including a selection of game drives and guided walking safaris.

Day 5: Arusha
You will be driven to the relevant airstrip, where you will board a charter flight to Arusha, where your safari will end.
