When to go on safari in the Serengeti:
You can visit the Serengeti any time of the year, each season has its own special highlights… and the game is plentiful all year round.
January to March – wildebeest calving in the Southern plains
April to May – beginning of the migration, and the rains which covers the dust with a fine green blanket of grass!
Excellent for photography.
June to July – migration moving west and northwards
August to October – excellent game viewing during the drier months, particularly around the central and northern areas
November to December – the return of the wildebeest through the central to the southern plains of the Serengeti to begin the whole process again.
When to visit Ngorongoro Crater:
You may visit this area any time of the year, each season has its own special highlights! Some of the walking safaris are designed to fit in with the wildebeest migration in the Ndutu region, or to take advantage of the drier and cooler months, but a vehicle safari is accessible all year round.

6-Day Tanzania Adventure camping safari (WF) price includes
Pick up from Arusha hotel, services of driver/guide , park entrance fees.
All camping equipment including large walk-in dome tents, mattresses, all cooking and eating utensils, bedding (sleeping bag and inner sheet).
Services of a cook / camp assistant. All equipment carried in trailer or on vehicle.
Nights are spent inside parks or conservation areas unless specified – at PUBLIC campsites.
Price excludes
Visas if required, hotel night in Arusha before/after safari, shuttle bus services ex Nairobi, airport transfers, personal travel insurance, all drinks including water, & tips.
The safari departs Arusha at 09h30 – 10h00 in the morning with a minimum of 2 guests, it is therefore usually necessary to spend the night prior to departure in either Arusha or Moshi to join this safari, or arrive on a VERY early flight.
This safari visits Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National parks.
Guaranteed departure with minimum two persons.
This itinerary can be run in conjunction with a Gorilla Safari, Kilimanjaro climb, Gombe Stream, Selous or Ruaha or in fact any other tour within Africa. We easily link the areas with transfers / flights - these elements will be quoted separately.
