Your first view of the Ngorongoro Crater will take your breath away. Ngorongoro is a huge caldera (collapsed volcano), 250 sq km in size and 600 m deep. The crater alone has over 20,000 large animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Depart from Arusha to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, followed by afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park - host to a variety of Bird life, Hippos and several troupes of Baboon and if lucky tree climbing lions.
Dinner and Overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge
After breakfast, you head to Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of man, and then after your tour of the Gorge, you continue to the Nabi Gate, to start your exploration of vast plains of the Serengeti.
Meals and overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Full day to explore the Serengeti plains making the most of the morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner & Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast proceed through the Great Rift Valley and game drives enroute and continue into the Ngorongoro highlands. You continue to ascend the exterior of the crater reaching its rim and here your first glimpse of what has often been referred to as the "Eighth wonder of the world”. Lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge then afternoon visit to Masai boma.
Dinner & overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for full day game viewing drives with Picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha to continue with your onward travel plans.
Child policy: Child under 2 years sharing a room with 1-2 adults is accommodated on a complimentary basis, Child 2 to 12 years of age sharing a room with 2 adults is charged 50% of the per person adult rate. If own room is required 75% of the adult rate is charged., Young adult 13 to 17 years of age is charged 75% of the per person adult rate whether sharing or on their own.
