Singita Tanzania Horseback Safari - Guided horseback safari in the Grumeti Reserve, on the western corridor of the Serengeti for a unique safari experience on exclusive use basis.
Situated in over 340,000 acres of exclusive use concession in the Serengeti, Singita Grumeti Reserves will offer Africa’s most exclusive mobile-tented safari experience on horseback. The Singita equestrian mobile safaris will take guests on a journey of exploration to some of the Reserve’s most remote and romantic sites.

The mobile camps only operate within Singita Grumeti Reserves. There are no set camp sites; the best location is selected in terms of game viewing and scenery for the time of the year.
The camp comes with the service of a private game viewer for game drives and will be hosted by our equestrian specialists, private guide, chef and camp staff.
Guests will be accommodated at one of the permanent Singita Grumeti Reserves lodges for 2 nights while the camp moves location.
Each of the six tents is appointed to Singita standards with separate en-suite facilities.

Children of all ages are welcome and bookings are subject to availability. In the interest of safety, participation of children in any game activities is at the discretion of their guide. When booking a double room, children 18 and under pay 50%.

| 2pm | Arrive at Singita Sasakwa Lodge, check in and relax. |
| 3.30pm | Visit the stables for afternoon tea followed by a briefing on the afternoon ride. Depart on a 2 hour ride to ensure riders are comfortable with the selection of horse and tack. Return to the stables for sundowners and snacks and a chat about the following days riding and expectations. |
| 8pm | Dinner at the lodge. |
| Day 2: | |
| 7.30am | Depart from the lodge and ride across the wide open plains with a short stop along the way for a leg stretch and snack. |
| 12pm | Arrive at the mobile camp in time for a shower before lunch followed by a welcome siesta. |
| 3.30pm | Enjoy afternoon tea before setting out on an afternoon activity of either a short ride around the camp or a game drive. |
| 7pm | Return to camp to freshen up and relax around the fire before dinner while reliving the days adventures. |

| 3.30pm | Enjoy afternoon tea before setting out on the afternoon activity. This is a short ride for approximately 1.5 hours around the camp enjoying the evening light. The ride ends with sundowners and snacks in the bush near to camp. The horses are returned to camp by the staff. Guests also have a game drive option and horses and game viewers can meet up at the sundowner location. |

| 6.30am | An early morning wake up with tea and coffee brought to the tent. Watch the sunrise while you enjoy a light breakfast of cereals of toast, muffins and fresh fruit. |
| 7am | Set off to Singita Faru Faru Lodge. This is a long morning ride as there is a lot of ground to cover. |
| 1pm | The ride ends with a bush brunch/lunch near Faru Faru and the horses are taken back to Faru Faru by staff. |
| 2pm | After lunch the guests will be transferred to Faru Faru by game viewer. Due to the longer morning ride there will be no riding in the afternoon to allow the horses to rest. Afternoon activities available include time in the spa, a game drive or relaxing by the pool overlooking the waterhole. |
| 3.30pm | Afternoon Tea will be available and an optional game drive / bush walk. |
| 7pm | Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and snacks around the fire. |

| Day 5: | |
| 7.30am | Depart Singita Faru Faru Lodge and explore the riverine area around the lodge. The ride is around 4.5 hours with a short break to stretch legs and enjoy a packed snack. |
| 12pm | Return to Singita Faru Faru Lodge for lunch and enjoy an afternoon at leisure. There will be no riding in the afternoon to allow the horses to rest. Afternoon activities available may include time in the spa, a game drive or relaxing by the pool overlooking the waterhole. |
| 3.30pm | Afternoon Tea will be available at the lodge & and an optional game drive/bush walk. |
| 7pm | Enjoy relaxing and well earned pre dinner drinks and snacks around the fire. |
| 8pm | Dinner at the lodge. |
| Day 6: | |
| 7am | Depart Faru Faru and ride out towards the second location for the mobile camp site. Enjoy a packed snack stop along the way. |
| 12pm | Arrive at the new mobile site in time for a shower before lunch. |
| 3.30pm | The afternoon activity is a short ride 1.5 hours around the area, enjoying the evening light. Alternatively an evening game drive, returning to camp in to freshen up and enjoy a drink at the fireside before dinner. |

| 6.30am | An early morning wake up with tea and coffee brought to the tent. Watch the sunrise while you enjoy a light breakfast of cereals, toast, muffins and fresh fruit. |

| 12pm | End the ride at a bush brunch/lunch site. Guests enjoying a leisurely meal and then transferred to the mobile camp in a game viewer. The horses return to camp with the staff. |
